Wes has been doing so well at basketball.

The Cavs

We had our first game of Upward's basketball for this year!

It's going to be another great year.
Wes' cousin Brandon is also on his team which is special.

We had family over last night to watch the game.
Wes was so excited to have his cousin watch the game with him!

I caught a glimpse of them settling down to really watch the game.
It didn't last too long.
Playing won out!

Wes is a huge Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley fan. So thankful to God that everytime he sees them talking they talk of their faith. It's also such a blessing to tell him that they are always at a church here in Austin!

Christmas 2009

Here are some of our cookies for Santa. If you will notice our reindeer are really army green.
I realized too late that I didn't have brown food coloring and this was the best I could do in mixing what colors we already had.
Yum!

Christmas Eve we spent with the Tindel side.
The cousins had lots of fun playing and opening gifts.

Before we left that night they were just sure they had seen Rudolph's red nose in the sky!

Christmas morning Wes bounded out of bed early, looking to see if Santa had eaten our cookies and drank the milk, then he was quickly off to see what was under the tree.

Of course, I said "Don't shoot your eye out!"

After opening all our gifts that morning we made our way to the Farrier's for Christmas Day.
We had a great day out there opening presents, eating, playing and visiting.

And, of course, we spent a lot of time shooting the BB gun!

He mainly shot at cans but we found this ice in the bird bath which was fun to shoot at.

We had a great Christmas vacation. This year seemed to be the most relaxing in awhile.

It ends tomorrow when Wes goes back to school.

Hopefully we'll adjust to the regular schedule quickly!

Yearly Leaf Fun

Wes has been watching our trees daily trying to guess when all the leaves will come down,
so he can play in them. They have lost their leaves so on Saturday we played in them.

Friday was a special day. It was two of Wes' great- grandparents' birthdays!
Grandpa Fred wish we could have been with you to celebrate!

Christmas Party

Friday was a 1/2 day and all they did was party!
I got there around 9:30 to join in the fun.
We just did decorating and other activities, along with snacks.
