Stir Crazy

Can you tell we are going stir crazy? Wes has had a high fever since late Tuesday night! How much longer will this go on?
Thankfully he's been a good patient and I've actually gotten several things done around the house that I wouldn't have if, I hadn't been locked in!
Hopefully we'll be out and about really soon!

Easter Sunday

We had a wonderful Sunday. It rained off and on that morning but turned so nice that afternoon and evening. After church we headed to my folks for brunch and then enjoyed the weather most of the afternoon. That evening we went to our Home Group and enjoyed our church friends.

Not the best Easter pictures this year but here they are anyway.

Wes got to hunt for more eggs out at my folks.

Confetti Eggs

Wes loves confetti eggs and every year I seem to buy more and more. He used 1/2 of them on Friday and the other 1/2 on Saturday.

Can you tell he is having fun?

Wes threw the eggs at everything from the fence, the house, himself, and yes the poor dog!
If you look in the dog's mouth you'll see lots of confetti!

Saturday Wes let Dad in on the fun!

More Easter...

Wes had an Easter hunt at school last Thursday. I have no pictures of him hunting, he was way to fast for me. And I never made him stop to catch a picture.

Getting the rules about where to hunt and how many eggs to collect.

Wes and Katie counting their eggs.

Hey, Mom this is fun!
He got Friday off so we went to GattiLand for pizza and games and then headed to the Monsters vs. Aliens movie in 3D. Lots of fun. Saturday we had a birthday party but stayed home the rest of the day enjoying confetti eggs and watching the Masters.

The Jackson's Easter

Every year a family from our church along with their parents and siblings from another church invite friends from the two churches for a HUGE Easter Party! This year's crowd was around 300 and they said that was a bit smaller than some years!
Wes's favorite part of the party is the hayride.
There are a ton of bunnies along the trail and all the kids love looking for them.
We did the hayride twice this year!

Back to Baseball

Baseball is back into full swing! Literally!! Outfield is always boring to Wes! Not too many kids hit that far yet!
Making sounds with my mouth!
This grass is soft!

Finally some action!
This ball went high, but thankfully no one caught it!
Safe at first base!

Crowe's Nest Farm

Wes had his last field trip for his kindergarten year.
Mrs. Smith's class
Some of his buddies on a hayride
Ethan & Lawson

How do we get milk?
They liked watching the milk go through the tubes.

The highlight of the trip for me was walking up to the goat pen to see a mommy giving birth.
Just one of the beautiful things God designed!

Let's get you clean!
Come on you can walk!

Wes's favorite things on the trip were seeing ostriches, seeing a cow get milked,
and watching the goat give birth.
