Farrier Family Reunion, May 28 - 30

Thursday Todd Wes and Grandpa headed to Kansas!
I think all the guys were very excited to be doing a guy trip!
The next day they headed to Prairie Dunes for a round of golf!

Friday us girls headed out to meet them in McPherson.
When I got there Wes and Todd were in the pool, so I joined them.
We then cleaned up to meet part of the extended family to eat.

Saturday was spent at Grandpa and Grandma Fred's house, the park, and then that night at the church for our actual reunion dinner.
Wes and Todd in Grandpa and Grandma Fred's big tree.

Wes loves going to the park to feed the ducks.
He was so excited that Dad could come with us this time.

That night after we ate everyone just hung out, played games, and visited.
Wes and Morgan are very close in age and really enjoyed playing together.

Grandpa and Grandma Fred helped keep the twister game going.

Sunday we all went to church, out to eat, back to an early afternoon church, and then off to Uncle Greg and Aunt Kathy's house to hang out.
(Actually all the boys golfed some and then joined us)

The kids played outside some and in the pool too.

And played down in the basement

Diamond Back Baseball

This was another season of machine pitch.
You just never got into it this year. I think you were just burnt out from playing almost year round for the last few years.
By the end of the season you were getting more into and back to your old self.
Needless to say you are not doing fall ball, we'll see how you feel this spring.
You really got into being catcher and did AMAZING!!!
Your goal was to be as good as Cameron Rupp the UT catcher!
I must say Cameron Rupp better be worried!

We had an end of season party at the coaches house. It was a lot of fun.

Longhorn Baseball

May 16th we headed to a UT baseball game. We didn't know it was a double-header
which was a great surprise.
We bought tickets in the general seating
aka steep slope on the wet ground!

This is our view of the game.

This is our view of the game after we moved seats!
We were in the shade, and under cover from the off and on rain.
So glad we moved!
We are so sad to see Cameron Rupp (Wes would love to be a great catcher like him-we joked about him taking Cameron's place when he was old enough) and Kevin Keys, but I guess that's how it goes with college ball.
