Cinco Day Three

Our last day!
It was fun, but I think we were all ready to head home!

A little more target practice!

You wanted to climb this SO bad!
Simple fun!
I love you Wes!
I love how much you love the outdoors!
It was a fun trip!
I'll tag along as long as you'll let me!

Cinco Day Two

We drove around a lot to get from place to place. Open, rough terrain!

Wes likes to wear his hat crazy sometimes. Daddy doesn't like this.

Before
After

He absolutely loved riding in the back of the truck bed with us in the front.
He smiled the whole time he was back there!

Crazy driving! He was laughing so hard when we hit bumps!

Another great day! We were again very tired by evening. Showered and in bed watching another movie by 8:30!

Spring Break Day One

We were able to go back to the Cinco this spring break! It was so much fun!!!
Wes' first catch of the trip was a big one and we hadn't even gotten the boat in the water yet!

Shooting turtles off of the trees with his BB gun!
Add ImageWe didn't bring our dog, but Wes still had a buddy there.
Remi was there to play with.
She is NUTS about fish.
You really can not fish when she is around.

Don't worry we didn't let her carry it around too long.
The fish is back safe in the water!
Shooting cans!

That night Wes and I watched movie in bed!

Wes' Early Birthday Celebration

Wes has a summer birthday but the thought of waiting til the end of school to celebrate is just too much to handle.
A few weeks ago we brought Round Rock donuts to school to celebrate!
And I brought you McDonald's to eat for lunch!

Nathaniel
Isaac

I love you Wes and it's always fun to see you at school with your friends.
This year the group of boys in your class are just sweet and funny, just like YOU!

BCS Jog-a-Fun 2010

It was another fun jog-a-fun. I ran with Wes. Usually there are parent volunteers to count all the kids' laps. This year all the kids had chips on their shoes. It said Wes ran 20 laps which is what he did last year. Several people who counted their laps said that the numbers didn't match. I think it was close for Wes. He probably ran more like 23. He had fun so that's all that matters.

Here they are waiting for their turn to run!

If you have no tardies, you get to run with "Be There" Bear!

Snow cones after the jog!

The boys' silly faces.

This year they had the jog party the same day which was a great idea.
Not much school work gets done that day anyway.
Wes is inline for the slide!

The track was a little muddy!
This was after we wiped off quite a bit of mud!

It finally snowed!

On February 23rd we finally got some snow. It was beautiful, huge snowflakes. I got a call around 10am from school that Wes was sick. He had a stomach bug. We got him home and I knew he was sick when he wouldn't get out of bed except to go to the restroom. By around 3:30 I could tell he was feeling a little bit better so we MADE him go outside and enjoy the snow.
He lasted around 40 minutes before he wanted to go back in and lay on the couch. I am so glad he got to enjoy it even for a little bit.

Todd made the snowman while Wes was lying at the window watching.

Wes loved throwing snowballs to Kodi!

And Daddy!

The next day we caught Kodi destroying our snowman in the backyard.

We love our warm weather here in Austin, but a day or two of snow is always fun!!!
