Easter Fun

It started Thursday with an Easter Egg hunt at school and snacks after!

That afternoon we started making cookies!

Then we took a break for confetti eggs!

On Friday we had NO school!  Woo Hoo!!!

We started the morning off with dying eggs!

We also spent part of the afternoon at the neighbor's pool.

I can't believe it's warm enough to be swimming!

Saturday we finally iced the cookies we made!

Two Front Teeth

Last Saturday Wes lost another tooth.  I love his smile.

Later that day we got together for Abigayle's 5th birthday.

Happy Birthday Kodi Bear

On March 29th Kodi turned 3!  I am proud to say that he has calmed down a TON and there is hope that I will have a VERY MELLOW dog!

He enjoyed opening his presents but I think Wes enjoyed picking them out more!

Bike Rodeo

We had a fun time last Saturday at the Pflugerville Bike Rodeo.  We've always just driven by but decided to give it a try.  Wes LOVED it.  There were 8 or more obstacle courses and they were graded on their performance.  There was also the chance to register your bike with the police.

Church Retreat

Our church retreat has always been the last weekend in April. It has now changed to the last weekend in March. Some years it can be really cold so we were very excited when the forecast showed hot days. The kids love it no matter what, but being in the water is a big part of Leakey fun!

Wes and Seth learned how to help in the kitchen this year!

Wes worked at least 2 nights hard cleaning and putting up dishes.
A lot of hard work goes into Leakey and I want him to always be willing to help out.
Todd helps with hauling all the trash in a trailer and Wes wants his job when he is 16.
We'll hope he still feels that way in a few years!

Thursday night is just for the "workcrew" and their families!

Spring Break

I think this is becoming a tradition at least for a little bit longer.

Todd is always swamped during spring break,

so Wes and I just do things around here w/o daddy.

We went bowling, to the movies, met up with friends

but literally every night but one we slept together in the living room!

Super fun, and easy!
